There’s not a lot to say about this event, it was fairly small scale and there seemed to be something of a mix up with arrangements meaning there was no changing facilities and the organisers had anticipated that we’d take part in the walk from Inchinnan to the hotel which would have been somewhat impractical.
Nevertheless, it was once again a hugely wothwhile charitable cause and despite apperances our presence apparently went down well with the attendees. One of the charity walkers had a Stormtrooper outfit of his own, wlbeit an off the shelf fancy dress costume and was somewhat deflated to see a prorper TK waiting near the finish to great him. Luckily he wasn’t within earshot when one of the children taking part later came up and said “you’re dressed just like Colin, except you two are real and he’s just pretending…”
Still, if this had turned out to be busier and more tiring we may not have spontaneously decided to take a trip to Edinburgh later that day, so every cloud, I suppose…
